Abstract :
The authors demonstrate that the gross nonlinearities in the IV characteristics of a mesoscopic cross at 4.2 K may be used to demodulate signals at radio frequencies with high efficiency and low distortion. The device has a relatively low impedance and the results are reproducible from device to device
