Abstract :
This paper describes an experimental approach to a video monitoring system. Video monitoring is specifically intended for ensuring delivery of quality video to subscribers by video-on-demand systems, and is installed either at the local switching office or at the video servers. A framework for the monitoring system is provided. We discuss the constraints and present the results of some of our prototype development
