Abstract :
A 2.45 GHz rectenna consisting of a modified Vivaldi antenna with a broadside radiation and an half-wave series voltage multiplier is presented. The dc voltage provided by the proposed rectenna is used in a wireless sensor network to remotely enable an end device radio node. Reported experimental data demonstrate an operation distance of ~ 70 cm with an enabling signal of 130 mW.
