Abstract :
A new iteration technique has been proposed for calculating exact antiresonant values of cladding layer thicknesses in antiresonant reflecting optical waveguides (ARROW´s). This technique enables design of ARROW waveguides with core layers incorporating sophisticated multilayer systems, where the approximate analytical formulas cannot be applied.<>
