Abstract :
A novel compact low-pass filter (LPF), with suppression of spurious response, is proposed. The new LPF is compact in size due to the slow-wave effect and proper layout. The LPF, consisting of two shunt-connected LPFs with characteristics of quasi-elliptic function, has a wide stopband with sharp roll-off. A demonstration filter is designed, fabricated and tested. Theoretical and experimental results are presented
