Abstract :
For original article by Jung and Seo, see IEEE Trans. Antennas Propag., vol.50, p.888-90 (2002). The paper by Jung and Seo presented a moment method solution of an elliptical patch antenna with emphasis on inclusion of the attachment mode around the probe/patch junction. In this comment, Deshpande points out that very similar work on the elliptical microstrip antenna was published by Bailey and Deshpande (1985), and a comparison is given.
