Abstract :
Writing functional and error code already is problematic because of context switches that must occur inside the heads of software developers as they progress in their coding task. These distracting context switches lead to coding errors because developers stop thinking about one type of code and start thinking about another. Having to consider a third code type further increases the code development processes´ complexity. In this article, we look at today´s security coding environment and suggest some research thrusts to advance programmers´ capabilities to address modern security programming challenges.
