Abstract :
The use of a Luenberger-type observer with an adaptive filter is discussed for estimating the states of a nonlinear system from the measurements of the output of the system, which may be contaminated with noise. Software development as well as experiments on implementation using an Intel MDS 800 microcomputer system are described in detail.
