Abstract :
Several cases of a compensation technique for a second order control system are described based on the idea of displacement of the equivalent Nyquist critical point during the system operation. The displacement of the Nyquist point is achieved by changing the characteristic of a nonlinear network constructed by means of a microprocessor. The time instants when the change occurs are properly selected so that the time response characteristics are improved.
