Abstract
The "Cordless Power Station" is a power supply system which does not use cords. The system makes use of electromagnetic induction generated with coils. Such systems will have uses such as supplying power to portable household electrical appliances or charging the batteries of circuits. We studied the power-transmitting characteristics and structure of a cordless power station. We also describe measurements of the distribution of the magnetic flux density around the coils, and discuss the effects of using amorphous fiber.
