Discussion on "Relations between designer and producer" at the Eastern Counties Section of the Institution

MR. C. H. WOODS: I wish to thank Mr. Pomeroy for his interesting lecture. As a result of the lecture one can see how necessary it is for the production engineer and the designer to understand each other´s point of view. Also Mr. Pomeroy has brought home how necessary it is for the designer to realize what the production engineer has to do. There is one question I would like to ask with regard to flexibility. Is there any real road to meeting either increasing or decreasing requirements?
