Abstract :
Many are of the opinion that the age of the Craftsman is passed. On the other hand many who should know are of the opinion that craftsmanship was never more vital than it is to-day. It is true that the requirements of the craftsman of to-day are different from those of yesterday, but no more so than any other set of conditions that may be examined. Tt is a question of evolution, and those who are constantly engaged in the manipulation of human material know that one of their major difficulties is finding a sufficient amount of the human material that should come under the heading of "Craftsman."
