Mr. Seymour said he would like to congratulate the Institution of Production Engineers on taking up this problem. It was most interesting to compare the position here with the position abroad. He had been shown by the Director of Education for the West Riding the courses which are now given in 12 of his secondary schools for metal and woodwork, each subject being taught by a man with a degree in engineering.
