Abstract :
Stability of a dc-dc converter where the average value of the output voltage is maintained constant is investigated. Simplified equations are developed for the average value of the output during sampling periods. The converter is modeled as a chopper pulsewidth modulated (CPWM) system and stability conditions are derived. By simulation, the accuracy of the results is verified.
