  • Abstract
    An investigation of the diffraction caused by a spherical shell placed on an infinite metallic plane is presented. Image theory is used to substitute an equivalent case for the real case. The equivalence between mathematical formulations of these two cases is established. A comparison between theoretical and experimental results is made and very good agreement noted
