Abstract
A revised interpretation of the standard pulse quantities calculated in the transmission line matrix (TLM) form of circuit model is shown to give improved solution accuracy. It is also shown that the accuracy of the TLM method can exceed that achieved with the fourth order Runge-Kutta algorithm, for equal computation time. The stability of the TLM approach and its relation to the trapezoidal algorithm are discussed.
