Abstract :
We present an experimental study of walk-off attenuation for Type II SHG, concerning both weak and strong focusing. In particular, we study 1.064 μm SHG in KTiOPO4 (KTP). The optimum focusing conditions and saturation length are well described by the Gaussian model contrary to the plane waves approximation. The saturation of the associated angular acceptance is clearly put in evidence for the strong focusing cases
