Abstract
A magnetic hybrid FE-BI (finite element-boundary integral) method is presented. The finite element method is used in the conducting region and the boundary integral method is adopted in the free space. The use of nodal elements for finite element discretization leads to potentials formulation. In the case of a magnetic formulation, the state variables are the electric vector potential and the magnetic scalar potential
