Abstract
A carbon monoxide safety-shutoff system has been designed, utilizing a thin oxide sensor and modern microprocessor technology. It has been designed to meet the American Gas Association requirements, and its performance has been successfully demonstrated. The development of this device is described in detail, and a simplified schematic diagram of the basic system is shown.<>
