Abstract :
Using nonlinear optimization theory, we derive extreme power dispersion profiles (PDPs) for wireless channels with maximal-ratio diversity. Specifically, we obtain the best and worst PDPs that respectively minimize and maximize the symbol error probability in Nakagami-m fading channels having not necessarily identical means.
