Abstract :
A lossless-discrete-integrator (LDI) based digital filter that implements a bilinear transformed elliptic transfer function is presented. The filter is designed by converting a ladder prototype into a lattice prototype and realizing the resulting lattice impedance reflectances with LDI elements. The resulting structure is amenable to compact bit-serial implementation and requires only as many multiplication operations as the filter order
