Abstract :
The eddy current and Lorentz force induced in metallic thin plates by the passage of a high-speed magnetic levitation vehicle are analyzed by using the current vector potential method and the integral equation method. Kirchhoff´s current law is imposed on the analysis of a branch structure, and flux penetrating a hole is considered to solve a multiply connected problem. Total eddy current and total Lorentz force are analyzed for several small thin plates
