Abstract
Today, the insulation systems designer is constantly challenged to develop/qualify new advanced systems or to modify existing systems to meet growing customer requirements. The following article is intended to be an informative document listing many of the possible insulation tests used today and identifying some of the current thinking surrounding each of these tests. The key to the future will be a knowledge of which test best optimizes development productivity.<>
