  • Abstract
    A transversal filter LSI and a waveform equalizing system using this LSI to equalize a waveform distortion for the MUSE (multiple subNyquist sampling encoding) system has been developed. This LSI includes almost all of the signal processing circuits needed to equalize the waveform distortion in the MUSE signal except for control processing, implemented by μ-CPU. Although it is composed of simple circuits. The equalizing system has many functions suitable for equalizing the MUSE signal. The waveform equalizing system with this LSI can equalize ±2.0 dB amplitude distortion to less than ±0.5 dB for signal-to-noise ratio better than 26.0 dB
