Abstract :
This paper discusses how the small analog computer, Comdyna GP-6, continues to remain popular in the engineering/educational field, particularly in the controls laboratory. A low-cost analog computer, such as the Comdyna, offers an easy and reliable means to quickly have a prototype circuit up and running. Useful as they are, however, virtually no analog computers today are purchased for the laboratory as programmable circuit signal processors.
