Abstract
By comparing results from a computer simulation with experimental data, it is shown that the radiation-induced electrical conductivity (¿) in a dielectric can be written in the form ¿=K(¿)¿ where K(¿) is a dose-dependent coefficient and ¿ is the dose rate. The coefficient K(¿) decreases with the dose (¿) due to the internal polarization fields created in the dielectric by the separation of positive and negative charges.
