Abstract :
This paper shows the time advantage analysis of m-phase symmetrical inverter systems in the complex plane. Computation time reduction occurs due to the 2m-side symmetry in the complex plane of such systems. Equations of characteristic values of voltage and current waveforms in the complex domain are developed. The validity of the analysis is shown for single and three phase symmetrical systems under three different modulation techniques using the equations presented in this paper
