Abstract :
Preliminary results of a research program involving the installation and evaluation of a real-time monitoring and dynamic rating system on two feeders on the Con Edison underground transmission system are described. A description of the dynamic thermal model and test system is given. Research results and practical application and use of the system are discussed.<>
