Abstract :
The impact of entertainment video BISDN (broadband integrated services digital network) fiber-to-the-home networks on home consumer electronic equipment is addressed. It is concluded that customer-friendly, high-end, high functionality TVs and VCRs could become a thing of the past if BISDN video networks become a reality
