In this letter, we propose and demonstrate a survivable wavelength-division-multiplexed passive optical network with simple optical network units. By employing our proposed alternate-path switching scheme, the affected traffic can be restored promptly under fiber feeder and distribution fiber link failures as well as the failure at the remote node, simultaneously
