Abstract :
An efficient numerical technique is presented for electromagnetic scattering in the near-field zone by three-dimensional permeable conducting objects excited by a loop antenna. The impedance boundary conditions are used to simplify the formulation and reduce the computation time and memory. Numerical results are presented to illustrate the dependence of the scattered field on the physical characteristics of the scatterer and its location
