Abstract
Analytical expressions are obtained for the inductances of a thin Corbino ring. The calculations are made of a Corbino ring suspended in free space and with the superconducting current flowing only in the radial direction. With the superconducting current density, the authors calculate the kinetic and field inductances for conditions where the electrical skin depth and London penetration depth are larger than the ring´s thickness. For these conditions the field inductance is independent of the film´s thickness while the kinetic inductance is proportional to the reciprocal of the film´s thickness
