Abstract :
This correspondence presents a roll monopole for broadband applications. The impedance and radiation properties of the proposed monopole are investigated experimentally and numerically. The study shows that the roll monopole features a compact configuration and satisfactory radiation characteristics within a broad impedance bandwidth.
