Abstract :
The announcement that EON are to build a supercritical coal fired power station at Kingsnorth brings back memories of the UK´s troubled earlier attempt at such a technology at Drakelow. This paper shares the experiences of the author with operating the supercritical coal fired power station at Drakelow Power Station
