The 1st October this year could mean sweaty palm time for health and safety reps around the land as the new COSHH regulations come into force. But, as Dave Powley, for twelve years a manager of analytical chemistry services in a variety of industries and now COSHH co-ordinator, SGS Inspection Services Ltd, reveals, COSHH is more about common sense and sharing responsibility for safety than white knuckles.
