The commenter observes that the author of the original paper (ibid., vol.10, no.5, p.27-9, 1990) overlooked the system dynamics approach to organizational control. The commenter discusses the importance of the method and provides some general references. The author responds that he found the ideas embodied in the system dynamics approach unconvincing, and he disputes the commenter´s contention that the ideas have had a profound effect outside academia
