Abstract :
GdFe7Six and ErFe7Six (0⩽x⩽2.5) ribbons, whose X-ray diffraction lines correspond to that of hexagonal CaCu5-type structure, were prepared by a single roller quenching apparatus. Composition dependence of the Curie temperature and magnetization was found. The magnetization reorientation phenomenon in the ErFe7Si1.0 sample was also observed
