Abstract :
A fast motion estimation algorithm of low power consumption is proposed. A motion estimator based on the proposed algorithm for H.263 and MPEG-4 video encoder of mobile multimedia applications is implemented by 0.13 μm 1.2 V six-metal CMOS technology.
