Abstract :
A gamma correction circuit suitable for video frequencies is described in this paper. The exponent gamma can be varied continuously from 0.4 to 2.2 by a single potentiometer. The circuit is temperature compensated for all values of gamma and is suitable for integration as a single monolithic chip.
