Abstract :
The mission of the IEEE History Committee and the History Center is to promote the preservation of, research into, and dissemination of information about the history of the IEEE, its Mmmbers, their areas of technical interest, and their professions and industries. By doing so, we increase awareness and understanding of the historic role of engineering in the improvement of the quality of life for people everywhere.
