Abstract :
A nonlinear emphasis system using time-axis reversal processing is discussed. The advantages of this system for improving the signal-to-noise ratio without causing deterioration of image quality over the conventional CR-type nonlinear emphasis are experimentally confirmed by application of this system to a VCR using an analog recording system
