Abstract :
Pulse duration modulation (PDM), often referred to as pulse width modulation (PWM), is a simple and effective means of remotely controlling linear autonomous dynamical systems. [1]-[6] However, state-dependent noise can cause a PDM control policy to become unstable. Sufficient conditions which guarantee asymptotic PDM controller stability, in the large, with probability one, are presented.
