Abstract
The authors first discuss the behaviour and stability of an order-two resistive network. After this, applying a direct synthesis approach, they show that a variety of convolutions useful in image processing can be implemented by this kind of network. In particular, new schemes for Gaussians and Gabor kernels of any phase are considered. Solutions by cascades or linear combinations of resistive networks are also discussed
