Abstract :
4×4 port optical path cross-connection with 8×2.5 Gbit/s wavelength division multiplexing transportation over 400 km employing unequal channel spacing is demonstrated. This demonstration uses a partially implemented 16×16 optical path cross-connect system with 320 Gbit/s throughput that is applicable not only to equal channel spacing but also to unequal channel spacing
