Abstract :
The effect of dynamic output feedback on a linear time-invariant system is studied and it is shown that a dynamic compensator introduces trensmission zeros in the closed-loop system which are located at the poles of the compensator. A similar result is also obtained for the transmission zeros between disturbances and outputs ("disturbance zeros") of the closed-loop system.
