Abstract :
A general description of the operational performance of KEK 20 MeV injector linac will be reported. The rf-power system with the beam loading AM compensation has been operated successfully. The maximum beam current of 150 mA was accelerated so far. The energy spread was about ??1 % without debuncher and less than ??0.3 % with debuncher at the beam current of 120 mA. The stability of the beam energy was remarkably improved by the debuncher and the variation was within ??0.1 %/hour. The measured normalized emittance was 0.6 ??cm mrad at 90 % of the beam current of 120 mA.
