Abstract
A series of studies of self-complementary antennas are summarized, emphasizing work performed by the author. Expressions for the electromagnetic fields of a pair of dual structures are given, and input impedances for complementary structures are obtained. Self-complementary structures and their constant-impedance properties are discussed. Multiterminal self-complementary planar antennas, three-dimensional self-complementary antennas, and stacked self-complementary antennas are treated. Developmental studies of self-complementary antennas are described.<>
