Abstract :
A formulation for modeling RF scattering from infinitely thin resistive strips is developed for TEz polarization (H-polarisation). finite-element frequency-domain approach using the Galerkin weak form and special gap elements is employed. The resistive strips can be tapered, and immersed in an arbitrary inhomogeneous dielectric/magnetic medium. This formulation has been integrated into an existing finite-element code, and results are given. These results compare well to moment-method solutions
