Abstract
This paper presents a simple alternative method to Roberts´ extension [1] of Becker´s real and imaginary curves method for the determination of stability bounds of a linear-continuous or sampled-data control system. Illustrative examples on the applications of the method are given. The results are in close conformity with Roberts. The analysis with time delay poses no extra problem whatsoever.
