Abstract :
For single-input l -output systems, a method is described for determining the output feedback vector required to assign l poles and simultaneously computing the coefficients of the residual characteristic polynomial, the roots of which are the remaining unassigned poles. method applies to multiinput single-output systems by duality and is illustrated by a numerical example.
